Size: 16½”
Conformation: Standard Wither

Colour: Black
Changeable Gullet: N/M to XW/XXW
Gullet Bar Type: R-Bar

This saddle has a slightly flatter tree on the underside and compact, slimline panels that allow the rider to feel closer to the horse. Although the seat is true to size, it offers a different feel to our Original GP and petite riders or those with narrower hips may feel it suits them better.

This saddle is ideal for croup high or flat backed horses, as well as standard fits.

Super-comfy deeper seat that gives you a little extra in-saddle security and locates you centrally for balance and control.

Versatile GP that’s forward enough cut to allow for jumping and cross-country as well as schooling and hacking.

Fully adjustable knee and calf blocks provide customised leg support.

Luxurious suede-effect seat covering and knee pads are non-slip and really comfortable to ride on.

Flocked with 100% British wool.

Multiple Girthing Options
GP models are fitted with three girth straps. The point (front) strap and second strap are stitched, the third strap is moveable. This changeable girthing arrangement allows saddle stability to be optimised instantly.

Multiple Girthing Options

Begin by girthing in the neutral position using the second and third billet. (NOTE: This is the same as girthing on the first and third billets on a saddle with a conventional girthing system)

If you find the saddle slips forward, you can use straps 1 and 3

Multiple Girthing Options

If the back of the saddle lifts away from the horse’s back, move the third strap onto the floating balance position and use straps 2 and 4

For increased stability you can use straps 1 and 4

NEVER girth using positions 1 & 2. This causes saddle instability and potential discomfort for your horse.

Changeable Girth Straps
The moveable girth strap can be positioned on the back ring to achieve optimal saddle stability

Changeable Girth Straps - Step 1

Step 1: Feed the strap through the ring with the point upwards and the top side of the strap facing down against the sweat flap.

Changeable Girth Straps - Step 2

Step 2: Curl the strap round and through the webbing loop

Changeable Girth Straps - Step 3

Step 3: Pull the strap tight ensuring the webbing loop lies flat against the top of the strap. (Reverse the above steps to remove a girth strap).

Saddle Care Supplies

Wipe smooth areas of saddle

Use soft bristled brush

Do not use wire brush

  1. Wipe down any smooth sections with warm water and a cloth. If it's really dirty, a mild detergent can be used.
  2. Use a soft bristled brush (such as a body brush) to remove dirt from the seat and knee rolls
  3. Avoid products that are glycerine or oil based, or those that contain alcohol (such as spray cleaners)
  4. Wipe down the non-leather sections (flap and panels) with warm water and a cloth. A mild detergent can be used to remove stubborn dirt. Remember to clean all surfaces. These areas require no further products or conditioners.
  5. If your saddle has leather stirrup straps, take care NOT to apply saddle soap or conditioner to the surface which comes into contact with the saddle flap.
  6. DON'T use a suede brush. The wire bristles are too course for the T4 saddle material and could cause damage.
  7. Radiator iconAlways allow your saddle to dry naturally. Do not use external heat sources and don't put it on a radiator, or hot pipes.
