Our GP girth is made from Airoform cushioning material that really does stay soft and supple. For safety and dependability we’ve incorporated a double-layer stitching system - even if the visible stitching on the outside appears to rub, there’s an internal fail safe that means you and your saddle will stay secure.

The technically advanced material used in Thorowgood Airoform girths is easy to look after
Simply sponge it clean after use - don’t use saddle soap, oil or leather conditioner.
If your girth gets especially dirty or sweaty, dilute a small amount of washing up liquid in water and wash off the sweat
Towel dry as best you can then allow to dry naturally
DO NOT dry next to direct heat sources such as radiator, Aga or hot pipes
